About Chelsea



ChelseaChelsea were found in 1905, have always been a cluv that were committed to playing attractive football. A First Division league championship in 1955 was placed alone in the trophy room until a golden period between the 1960s and 1970s. The League Cup, FA Cup and European Cup Winners' Cup were all won during a six-year period before the dawning of the FA Premiership. Chelsea lost the FA Cup in the final in 1994 but was followed by a victory three years later and in 1998 alone saw them win three more trophies - League Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup and European Super Cup. The FA Cup was won once again in 2000 and then was followed in 2005 with the Barclays Premiership title, their first league title for 50 years.
